NEXT STEPS

We believe God has a plan, a place and a purpose for you in His Church. Whether you have recently committed your life to Jesus, or have served in church for years, we have a next step for you. Let us help you connect with other believers, serve on a ministry or outreach team, grow in your spiritual development, and equip you to make a difference. We encourage you to take one step toward the plan and purpose God has called you to.

Discovery Class

Throughout the year we offer the Discovery Class. It is an opportunity to learn more about the church’s beliefs, vision, ministries, organization and practices. Contact the pastor at info@wordenbc.com or (501)724-6268 for more information.

How to have a personal relationship with God

This is what the Bible says:

We all have a PROBLEM, and it is sin.  Sin has broken the relationship between God and man. None of us deserve God’s mercy, grace, or a relationship with Him.  We are sinners by nature and sinners by choice. We must recognize and admit this problem.   (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12)

God had a PLAN.  He knew we could not earn a place in heaven or a relationship with him, so He sent……His perfect son. (John 3:16-18).

Jesus is the PROVISION.  He came as the sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sin.
(Romans 6:23; II Corinthians 5:21)

We must PLEAD for His mercy and grace.  With a repentant heart, trust only in the mercy of Jesus and what He did for us on the cross.  When a sinner repents and believes God, in grace and mercy, forgives and redeems, thus making that individual a child of God. (Acts 16:30-31; Romans 10:9-13)

PRAY now confessing your sin and inability to save yourself and trust Christ, and Christ alone for your salvation. He promises salvation to all who turn to Him. (Roman 4:3; 10:9-13; 1 John 1:9)
